Object Types
· There are basically two types of object in AD.
1. Container Object
2. Leaf Object
· A container object is an object that stores other object, while a leaf object stand alone & cannot
store other object.
· Container object works as branch of tree, leaf object grow off of the branches.
· AD uses container object called organizational unit to store other objects.
· Container can store other container or leaf object such as user and computer.
· Assigning permission to a container object means that, by default all object in the container inherits
that permission.
